"Brewer shows himself to be the complete package as a guitarist, with his solos being soulful, commanding, and full of chops. One aspect of his playing that is thankfully put up in the mix, as it should be, is his comping. When the flute is soloing, we get the full beauty of Brewers chordal work behind him.
